When Instagram ‘stories’ first launched back in 2016, it introduced new opportunities for marketing by brands and users alike so to be more authentic and creative on the platform. This story feature option was embellished with stickers, and now this sticker gets a new features sticker ‘Join Chat.’
Jane Manchun Wong, an app researcher, based in Hong Kong, has revealed that Instagram is working on a new ‘Join Chat Sticker.’ The sticker, which will appear alongside current options such as Location, Poll and Questions, will make it easier for users to interact with their followers.
These Instagram Stickers are dynamic graphic elements that can be added to the image as seen on the screenshot posted by Ms. Wong. “As stated in the app: ‘People who view your story can request to join this group chat.”
The sticker feature helps to make your stories more fun while others directly contribute to their Instagram marketing goals. There’s no shortage of options to choose from where the customizable stickers are especially relevant for marketing.
It is yet not confirmed when Instagram plans to roll out the new sticker.
