The Smart fitness band Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will have some of the new options that a highly anticipated model is expected to offer like interesting novelties without increasing its price. Those are getting leaked little by little. Well, several images show how its design will be and the integrated screen.
Aesthetically it does not seem that a radical change will be made in the lines that the latest version of the smartband may include since the central element where all the hardware is integrated will be practically identical. Of course, the button integrated into the panel seems to leave its large dimensions with a ripple to be smaller – and all without breaking the front design. As expected, everything points to the fact that the straps will be interchangeable and that the one included by default with the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will be silicone with its color being black.
One of the things that seem clear with the images that have been leaked is that the screen will change, and for several reasons. The first is that its rectangular shape will make it offer very sharp corners that, in our opinion, do not fit very well with the rounded lines offered by the wearable accessory in the rest of the elements. The second reason is that the component becomes colored, which will have to be seen as it impacts the autonomy – this, in addition, will make the dimensions of this component smaller than in the current model, and leave a few frames superior and lower too pronounced. Of course, the change to be sure that solves one of the great failures of the Mi Band 3: the problems to see the content when there is a lot of light.
It also seems that the use of widgets on the screen will be an option, allowing even the management of the position of the elements by the user. In addition, the structure in the form of tiles (tables of information, similar to those of Windows 10), aims to be quite positive and allow a very simple use by touch screen. The user interface in the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 seems to be completely different and fits much better with the new version of the Mi-Fit application.
Not much is known about the hardware that the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will offer inside, but the water protection will be equal or more efficient than in the model currently sold in the market and, in addition, the NFC connectivity will not be an option and will be part of the smartband natively.
