Google Pay – formerly known as Android Pay – is a service that allows you to pay for purchases in stores, on websites and in applications via a smartphone. Google Pay can be used in any stores and other places where contactless payment terminals are installed. You have probably already seen similar devices at the box office and brought bank cards to them for debiting.

To pay via Google Pay, it’s enough to bring a smartphone to such a terminal instead of a card. This is more convenient since the gadget is always at hand and use it faster than getting the right card or cash from the wallet. Especially to the smartphone, you can connect multiple cards. Internet for payment is not needed.

As for online purchases: sites and applications that accept money through Google Pay, display a button on the payment screen with the logo of this service. If you see this, you need to click on it and follow the further prompts on the smartphone display. Although, the new recent update of the app may have broken the unified payment system.

New app releases tend to have bugs, and this latest new case for Blackberry users might be a bit unfortunate. For those of you who use contactless payments and Many on the new Google Pay update, 34.0 are reporting that Google Pay is broken, presumably because of a SafetyNet issue similar to the one from previous bugs update last year.

According to the tips we’ve received, Google Pay Update 34.0 is giving many users trouble. One reader attempted to remove and re-add his card, but he then got a notification saying that his phone had been altered and that Pay wouldn’t function. A crackberry forum user in (ForumAndroid > BlackBerry Phones & OS) had the same experience and found that his phone did not pass a SafetyNet test.

It is recommended that users should manually clear Play Store data and reboot your phone, but hopefully, that should get mobile payments working again. While we are seeing some reports of users continuing to experience errors, give this process a shot and see if it doesn’t work for you, and wait for Google Pay next update fixing all the accounted issues.
