Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S Is Now Official: 48-megapixel Camera and Snapdragon 660

Xiaomi, who could soon present the Redmi 7A, is still working on the arrival of its new smartphones. After the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 9, which continues to be the most powerful Android phone, according to AnTuTu, the company has officially confirmed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S, which stands out for its dual rear camera led by a 48-megapixel sensor and for wearing inside it a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.

As reported by FoneArena, the firm has officially announced the launch of its new mid-range device. It is an improved version of the Redmi Note 7 that was launched last February in India and that stands out for its dual rear camera led by a 48-megapixel sensor and the addition of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. Xiaomi has taken the opportunity to confirm all the features and specifications, in addition to their new smartphone’s price and release date.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LTPS screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, in which there is a notch in the shape of a drop of water where the front camera is placed. Among its features, the company’s new mid-range smartphone has a glass design and is resistant to splashes, in addition to incorporating a fingerprint reader on the back.

Inside, the device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, which is accompanied by 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal memory, expandable by microSD cards up to 256 GB, plus a 4000 mAh battery with charge Quick Charge 4.0 18W. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S will come with Android 9.0 (Foot) with MIUI 10 as an operating system.

As for photography, the company’s new device has a double rear camera led by a 48-megapixel lens and a secondary sensor of 5 megapixels. On the front is a camera for selfies of 13 megapixels with AI and face unlocking. The Redmi Note 7S will go on sale on May 23 in three colors – Black, Blue, and Red – and can be purchased for 10,999 Indian rupees.
