Back at the CES 2019 event, Lenovo announced the Smart Clock – a super tiny smart display with a 4-inch screen designed to be the perfect modern alarm clock. After months of not hearing a word from Lenovo, it looks like the company is finally getting ready to ship the gadget.

It’s a small smart display with a 4-inch screen made especially for your nightstand, and it is undeniably adorable. But it has been radio silence since the announcement, however, with only a vague spring arrival touted. The new announcement just added to the Lenovo support site suggests that we won’t have to wait much longer.

Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant

The smart display section on the Lenovo Forums has been renamed to append the Smart Clock device while administrator Miguel has added posts containing a user guide, FAQs, and a data sheet. Looking through this shows that the gadget will work almost the same as Lenovo’s existing 8 and 10-inch smart displays, but it will be easier to set the alarm, and there will be a few extra clock face options.

The Smart Clock comes with a mute switch around back in case you want the device to stop listening. There’s also no camera to be found on the device; instead, there is a USB-A port for charging your phone. As per the announcement, Lenovo pre-orders are live at Lenovo.com, Walmart, and Home Depot apparently priced at $79.99 to be shipped on June 2.
