Asus announced a series of new products like the lineup of Zenbooks, Zenfone 6 along with portable touch display, ScreenPad 2.0, and Screenpad Plus at Computex 2019 in Taipei. The company celebrated its 30th anniversary with an exclusive limited-edition ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334FL), a Pearl White model with a hand-crafted genuine Italian leather lid cover.

Asus is trying to make dual-screen laptops the next big thing, and the new ZenBook 13, 14 and 15 models now include the company’s ScreenPad 2.0 which replaces the traditional trackpad. All the three new offerings come with a slim design, a metallic body and ScreenPad 2.0, which is an upgraded version of the company’s touchscreen embedded touchpad. Asus has also taken wraps off its ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334FL) laptop that has a leather design and has been made to commemorate the company’s 30th anniversary.

ZenBooks are known for their combination of performance and mobility, and these are no different. They feature a full complement of high-performance components including up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPUs, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics, 16GB RAM, ultrafast PCIe SSDs and gigabit-class Wi-Fi. Asus has yet to announce pricing and availability details for its 15-inch ZenBook Pro Duo and 14-inch ZenBook Duo.

The ScreenPad Plus gives users the ability to enjoy the productivity and efficiency benefits of dual-screen computing on a single portable device. The full-width, high-resolution 32:9 aspect-ratio touchscreen sits directly above the laptop’s keyboard, providing a greatly enlarged visual workspace while preserving the standard laptop form factor.

Asus’s new ScreenPad works like an interactive secondary touchscreen, which can be used as an app launcher, handwriting tool, Task Viewer, video viewer, and much more. Asus is also bringing its ScreenPad technology to the new 15-inch ZenBook Pro Duo, which comes with a full-width “Screenpad Plus” secondary touchscreen that can do even more than the Screenpad 2.0 found on the new ZenBook laptops.

Asus also unveiled the Asus Zenfone 6 Edition 30 at Computex to celebrate Asus’s 30th anniversary. It will be a limited edition while only 3,000 will ever be made. It will come with VIP benefits and an exclusive 30-month warranty, but the headline additions to this model are the 12GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. You get the Snapdragon 855 chipset, 5,000mAh battery, and stock-like Android 9 Pie software experience, along with the 6.4-inch 1080p notch-less display.

Most of the products’ prices and availability are yet to be discovered.
