Redmibook 14 Launched

Aside from its new flagships, the Redmi K20 Pro, and K20, the sub-brand of Xiaomi has also announced a notebook called RedmiBook 14. It was earlier confirmed that Redmi will launch another product at the Redmi K20 series launch, and a laptop was anticipated. While the parent brand already has its own set of laptops available, Mi Notebooks, it’s the first for Redmi.

The RedmiBook 14 is explicitly a 14-inch Full HD display with anti-glare coating and brightness level of 250 nits. Weighing at around 1.5kg, the RedmiBook 14 also features an all-metal body with a thickness of 17.95 mm although the design seems to be highly inspired by MacBook.

The RedmiBook 14 under the hood, has up to eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor along with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics and 8GB RAM. There is also up to 512GB of solid-state drive (SSD). The machine carries a new cooling system to disperse heat. Furthermore, there is an intake vent area of 2530mm.

RedmiBook Laptop

The RedmiBook 14 comes with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and an HDMI port. On the other side, the Redmi laptop comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s the first laptop from the newly independent Redmi brand. The RedmiBook 14 runs the 8th generation Intel core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 to support the graphics.

The novelty prices at CNY 3,999 for the base variant with Intel Core i5 processor and 256GB SSD storage in China, while it’s 512GB SSD model comes at CNY 4,299. There is also the top-end model with eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor and 512GB SSD at CNY 4,999.
