Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip that was unveiled in September 2018 with advanced battery life and 4G LTE connectivity, the Fossil Sport Smartwatch is to set foot in India, as per the announcement made by Fossil recently.
The brand new addition to Fossil’s product lineup, Fossil Sport Smartwatch boasts of impressive attractions such as Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC and the reconfigured Google Wear OS, on the software side. The device promises to deliver and keep a tab on the health of its users, equipped with features like the heart rate sensor, Google Fit’s Move Minutes and Heart Points, which are drawn from health recommendations issued by World Health Organization and the American Heart Association.
Adding to the array of its advanced features, the watch has an extended battery life, a new battery saving mode, improved ambient mode, integrated heart rate, Bluetooth pairing, and GPS capabilities, among other things. It will be available in 2 sizes, 41mm and 43mm, equipped with built-in apps such as Spotify and ‘peace of mind and safety app’ Moonlight. Coming to the battery capacity, the watch is anticipated to run a day with a single charge and an additional two days with the battery saver watch mode. The charging technology is spot-on to recharge the device quickly and efficiently and is compatible with both wireless and magnetic charging.
The Fossil Sport smartwatch is priced at the starting cost of Rs 17,995. What’s more, it is sure to attract more customers with the feature of “endless” interchangeable strap options. As for the color of the watch, it’ll be available in Smokey Blue and Black colors.
