Oculus has announced its plans for this E3 2019, revealing that on June 10 they will post “one or two” announcements on their blog, including the latest from Beat Games (the launch of Beat Saber’s second paid DLC ). One of those ads will be a new game from Vertigo Games (Arizona Sunshine, Skyworld), that shows what appears to be destroyed (and frozen) laboratory material, in addition to the countdown to the announcement (June 10 at 6:00 PM CET). As published by Oculus in their blog post, the game seems to be compatible with Rift, although that does not close the option to also reach Quest.

Ready At Dawn, creators of Lone Echo and other companies were also developing for Quest, will also make an announcement at the UploadVR conference. The event will take place next Monday, June 10 at 6:00 PM (CET), although we do not know if it will be a new game in this case.

This year marks the return of Oculus to E3, so they are preparing for their “biggest presence to date”. They will have 8 demos and some more surprises, being possible to try for the first time games like Phantom: Covert Ops and Lone Echo 2. In addition to the titles of Quest Vader Immortal and Beat Saber, and those of Rift Asgard’s Wrath and Stormland.

Oculus also shares that they expect the Quest catalog to accumulate more than 100 games this year and that they are excited to share more than what awaits us. The companies Vertigo Games and Ready At Dawn, which was also developing for Quest, will present novelties next week.

With a high narrative aspect, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series will also have its first episode on sale from E3; you can buy it for $9.99 from the Oculus Quest store and Oculus Rift. It is unknown if in the future it will reach other platforms.
