In February, LetsGoDigital already reported on the Q60, following a trademark submitted by the Korean manufacturer. A week later, the device was announced in home country Korea and various other countries. This week the new middle-class smartphone was also introduced by LG in the Netherlands. The smartphone will be available in the country later this month for a suggested retail price of € 280 including VAT. This is the price for a single device without a telephone subscription.

Affordable phone with good camera

The new midrange phone has a 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display. The screen has a ratio of 19:9. There is a 2.0 Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset built in with 3GB RAM. The mobile phone comes with 64GB storage memory as standard, which can be expanded with a microSD memory card. There is a 3,500 mAh battery built in, which also supports wireless charging. To unlock the Q60, the device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back.

LG Q60 Camera

The LG Q60 is equipped with a triple camera, consisting of a 16-megapixel main camera with PDAF, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel Super Wide Angle camera. The triple camera on the back brings various new functions. The autofocus system, for example, is faster than before, which is particularly useful for moving subjects. LG has also added a Group Portrait function for taking group photos. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with an AI Cam, so photos are automatically edited for an optimal image result, according to LG.

The front has a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Here too, a portrait function has been added, which benefits the quality of the selfies. It is also possible to make selfie videos. In addition, you can edit the recordings through the Studio function, so it is possible to change the background or add stickers. It is even possible to change your hair color.

With the Q60, LG not only focuses on camera quality, but the sound quality should also be above average. You can listen to DTS: X 3D sound through your headphones. The technology behind the sound simulates a 7.1 surround system, making every sound seem to surround you completely. The 3D sound experience is ideal when playing video games, watching films or listening to music.

Thanks to the built-in Google Assistant you can use your voice commands to ask your questions or questions. For example, it is possible to ask your smartphone to take a photo, you can also set up a live stream on YouTube with one click, for this the YouTube live function is built in.

Buy LG Q60

The new mid-sized car will be available in the Benelux from the beginning of June. Consumers who buy the LG Q60 can only choose from the New Morrocan Blue color. The suggested retail price for a single device is set at € 280. During the launch of the new LG smartphone, you will receive a free JBL Go2 speaker with a purchase of € 40.
