Brace yourselves for the brand new sound system called the HT-S350, presenting Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force Pro Front Surround technology. The HT-S350 is a 2.1 channel system, having a wireless subwoofer and is priced at Rs. 17,990. It is slated to be available from June 10 across all Sony Centre stores and other major retail platforms in India, so head out to the stores and get your grab!

Brief overview of the specifications: What’s new?

Delving into the specifications of the soundbar, it weighs 2.4kg, sporting 2 full-range drivers on either end for the mid and high audio frequencies. The subwoofer maintains the low end or bass and has a large 6.3-inch driver. Impressively enough, the brand new Sony HT-S350 speaker system can deliver a total power output of 320W and the sound system can be connected to your TV via HDMI ARC or the Sony Bravia TVs over Bluetooth, for a wireless connection.

The soundbar features an optical input too and it can also be mounted on the wall if needed. You can also connect your smartphone to the soundbar over Bluetooth, which will come handy for the millions of smartphone-generation users across the globe.

Furthermore, the HT-S350 sports Sony’s proprietary S-Force Pro Front Surround technology, which is proclaimed to offer a sense of surround sound effect even without the multiple speakers.

This is a very winsome attribute as the immersive sound technology of Sony’ speakers just got better by several notches. The sound system’s design has a “punched metal” finish for the front panels, to add that extra spark to its visual appeal.

The Sony wireless subwoofer is shipped with remote control, there’s an optical cable in the box and the device also supports various sound modes such as Cinema, Music, Game, News, Sports, and Standard, which highlight its versatility. Not only this, there are special sound models such as Night Mode, that limits the maximum volume (so as to not disturb the night-time quiet and peace of sleeping people around) and a voice mode, which amplifies the vocals to bring in the stadium effect for watching spectator sports with its running commentary or even the auditorium/cinema theatre effect for watching musical concerts or movies.

Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to enjoy the redefined Surround sound experience with Sony’s HT-S350!
