LG presents its new gaming monitor LG UltraGear Nano IPS, the world’s first 1ms IPS display with a response time of 1millisecond. The Nano IPS technology provides phenomenal color rendering and a 144Hz refresh rate. UltraGear is a dream come true for all gamers through extreme speed and stunning picture quality that allows users to enjoy the most immersive gaming experience ever.

The gaming monitor brags a 144Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 175Hz. The model will come in two size options, both massive at 27- and 38-inches. Key to both monitors is the blistering 1ms response time joined by gaming settings like Crosshair and Dynamic Action Sync.

A number of features vary based on the model, however, including resolution — the larger model has a 450 nits WQHD 3840 x 1600 resolution, whereas the smaller model has a 350 nits QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution. The 27-inch UltraGear offers HDR 10, and the 38-inch model offers VESA DisplayHDR 400.

The screen continues with the upgraded Sphere Lighting 2.0 – a set of LED lights on the back of the monitor that further enhance the empathy by changing color to what is displayed on the screen. Both models also come with game-specific settings such as Dynamic Action Sync mode, Black Stabilizer, and Crosshair, ensuring increased accuracy, especially in FPS games.

LG shows both models at E3, the world’s largest gaming exhibition, taking place from June 11-13 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
