Huawei announced that it would debut the Nova 5 series smartphones in China on June 21. The lineup is expected to include the Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, and Nova 5i. Ahead of the launch event in China next week, we got press renders as well as a few other details regarding the upcoming Nova 5 Pro.
The Huawei Nova 5 Pro will be the most premium smartphone in Huawei’s Nova 5 series. The leaked render reveals it will have an all-glass design on the front and back with a unique gradient colored rear panel. The front of the device is dominated by a large OLED display with a waterdrop style notch to maximize the screen real estate. For biometric security and quickly accessing the handset, an in display fingerprint scanner will be present in the Nova 5 Pro.
However, the leaked renders have revealed that the Nova 5 Pro will be featuring a display with a waterdrop-style notch. Moving to the rear side of the phone, the Nova 5 Pro camera features a vertically arranged three camera sensors 24MP + 8MP ultra wide-angle + 2MP depth sensor and LED flash at the top-left corner. The other sensor that is placed alongside the three cameras could be a ToF 3D sensor.
It is expected to arrive with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The device will be available in four color variants at launch, namely Green, Purple, Orange, and Black. Rest of the smartphone’s specifications is expected to be unveiled as we move closer to its launch date on the 21st of June.
