Vivo Y12 has been officially launched in India and is ready for purchase through some major offline stores in India, starting today. The Vivo Y12 was supposed to launch alongside the Vivo Y15 by Mahesh Telecom, based in Mumbai.

Vivo Y12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) SoC, and it runs on Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top. The entire Vivo Y-series sports an HD+ (720×1544 pixels) Halo FullView display with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. So, the Vivo Y2 obviously features the same display with the LCD panel and the exact aspect ratio. The screen is of 6.35 inch, and like any other recent smartphone, the display also has a waterdrop style notch at the top. It also features dual SIM (Nano) slots and houses 4GB of RAM, and a 5,000 mAh battery, and the smartphone weighs only 190.5 grams.

The Vivo Y12 is mainly dedicated to Ultra Game Mode and the battery capacity will perfectly compliment and back up the Ultra Game Mode. Other than these features, what makes the smartphone a stellar competition to its many contemporary competition is its camera.

The smartphone dons not one but three rear cameras, and these are backed up by artificial intelligence. The triple rear camera has a 13-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. All of this comes with a LED flash. The camera also has some in-built features such as Time-Lapse, Live Photos, HDR, Portrait Mode, Panorama, and Super Wide-Angle Camera to name a few, along with a PDAF support. The selfie camera is of 8 megapixels and supports video chat. The selfie camera is also equipped with AI Face Beauty feature which is made to give out the so-called “tailor-made” facial enhancements along with Portrait Bokeh.

The Vivo Y2 has 32 GB internal storage, and supports 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor is on the back of the phone.

The Vivo Y12 is priced at Rs. 12,490 for the 4GB+ 32GB model, and it comes in Aqua Blue and in Burgundy Red.
