Xiaomi Meito

As many of you may already know that Xiaomi has acquired the image rights and all the algorithms of the Meitu brand after its final closure. Before the closing of the company, Xiaomi was already the controller of the Meitu market, thanks to an agreement.

Now we have filtered an image that shows the name of a smartphone that would arrive in collaboration with Meitu and would introduce all the algorithms and beauty apps that the Meitu brand had. The name of this smartphone is Xiaomi CC9 and would be dedicated to a young audience where the great mass would be the female.

Xiaomi Meito Announced

We remember that Meitu was a brand manufacturer of smartphones dedicated to selfie photography in which beauty filters and stickers were its great selling point. Xiaomi market did not dominate it because the company partnered with Meitu to get a young female audience to buy their smartphones. Everything seems to indicate that the sale of this device would start very soon and that it will be dedicated to the Asian country.

We hope that later there are more accurate rumors to know if this smartphone will go on sale and it will be sold outside of China. So far they are just rumors, but everything seems to indicate that it will go on sale as commented by the CEO of Meitu before the closure of the company.

It is already clear that there will be a smartphone in collaboration with the AI department of Meitu after some images leaked where the head of AI development of Meitu with Lin Bin is seen. So the collaboration between both companies will come in the form of a smartphone with a great selfie camera that would be the best in the market. In addition, this smartphone would have great postprocessing that will allow a high edition output of our selfie photographs.
