There have been several rumors that have pointed to Apple is preparing a new MacBook Pro 16 “to launch it this year. Today the analyst of IHS Markit, Jeff Lin, has stated that the launch of this brand new notebook is scheduled for September. This makes us think that Apple would present this Mac with the new iPhone or with a simple press event as its main novelty is the new screen size.
At the moment, it is known that this Mac will have a 16-inch LCD panel supplied by LG with an incredible resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels. We see a clear improvement over the resolution we have in the 15 “MacBook Pro that is 2880 x 1800 pixels.
We anticipate that Apple will launch a new product [in the] event on September 19 if there is not an unexpected development problem.

The information also gives us light on the possible date of the keynote of the launch of the iPhone, as the analyst indicates that this would take place on September 19.
Regarding the possible manufacturer of the screens of the next laptop, the Korean website The Elected ensures that Samsung was in talks with Apple on the supply of OLED screens for the 16-inch MacBook Pro. The recent IHS Markit report indicates that the laptop will have an LCD that would be manufactured by LG.
If the new 16-inch MacBook Pro arrives in September, it will do so with a demand that the market analysis company estimates at 250,000 units per month.
