The Russian manufacturer Caviar is a niche brand in smartphones and accessories that signifies the style-statement. Caviar is well known for its creative endeavor to bring exclusive high-end models for its niche clientele. From classic models, such as the exclusive telephone Viking Rurik Gold to the high-end smartphones is used as a basis. The brand has recently launched a gold iPhone XS Max earlier this year, as well as a unique concept of an iPhone foldable phone, designed like a classic book. The brand has announced three unique Limited Edition models based on the Samsung Fold.
Caviar’s Galaxy Fold has much in common like the Samsung’s Galaxy Fold except Caviar’s Galaxy Fold has a Game of Thrones skin on it. A screen on the front gives a tablet-sized display when unfolded. The rest runs on the same mechanism as the Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.
Niche stylish foldable smartphones: Game of Thrones Edition
The Caviar has unveiled its first model based on the story of Game of Thrones American fantasy series, following the HBO series finale. George Martin has written the popular series that has the backdrop of a mythical world of seven kingdoms. Every season is based on stories from various books. Five seasons are released. The sixth season has yet to begin; the title will be; “The Winds of Winter.”
The Game of Thrones Limited Edition from Caviar has the same book design as the Galaxy Fold. The front is equipped with a screen; once opened, a large tablet-sized display unfolds. Caviar has provided the folding telephone with numerous golden elements based on the legendary television series.
The bendable folding smartphone contains heraldic images of the big houses from the Seven Kingdoms and the figures of terrifying dragons and towers of the palace. The black composite reverse shows an engraved map of Westeros. The screen on the front is embraced with a golden bas-relief. Even a golden buckle to close the device is not missing.
Only seven copies of this special edition of the Galaxy Fold have been produced. One copy was handed by Caviar to George Martin himself, as a thank you and as an inspiration to write off the legendary story.
Caviar offers the Game of Thrones edition for a suggested retail price of 8,180 USD. Those interested to have a copy of this limited edition phone may place a pre-order. However, the device will not be delivered until the Samsung Fold has is embarrassed formally.
Two models launched: Carbon and Leather Samsung Galaxy Fold
Caviar has presented two more special phone models, for those who might find the Game of Thrones smartphones a bit too conspicuous especially those who have no or little clue about this popular TV series. The other two models are carbon and a leather Galaxy Fold.
These foldable telephones have a slightly more modest appearance. The folding mechanism is equipped with gold elements, the triple camera system on the back is surrounded by gold, as well as the screen on the front. Fewer decorations have been applied, adding a corporate look.
The Carbon Galaxy Fold has a matte, anthracite appearance. The Leather Galaxy Fold is made of soft crocodile leather. Both exclusive Caviar folding telephones have a sale price of 5,850 USD. It makes a price of € 2000 for the regular Fold.
