The company Nubia at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2019 exhibition, introduced a new version of the smartphone Nubia X, the main feature of which is the presence of two screens. This version of the smartphone is equipped with a 5G modem to work in fifth-generation networks.

The second half of 2019 is taking place under the 5G flag, and more and more manufacturers are declaring that they are preparing smartphones with support for fifth-generation networks. One of them was the company ZTE, which decided to sell the smartphone ZTE Nubia X again, but under the name ZTE Nubia X 5G.

The main screen of Nubia X occupies 93.6% of the area of the front panel, its diagonal is 6.26 inches. The resolution is 2280 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19: 9. The pixel density is 403 pixels per inch. The second display of the device has a diagonal of 5.1 inches and an eye protection system against the negative effects of radiation. Both screens are made by OLED technology.

The smartphone also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, a battery with a capacity of 3800 mAh and support for the fast charging technology NeoCharge with an output of 18 W, as well as a dual camera with image sensors of 24 and 16 MP.

The Nubia X 5G Edition looks like a 4G version, with the exception of the 5G logo located in the upper right corner above the display on the back panel. No specific details about the phone were announced, but rumors indicate that the device will be equipped with a new processor and a new modem – most likely, the Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon X50 Modem. However, it is not possible to predict whether Nubia will change other phone specifications.

Thanks to its dual-display design, the Nubia X has neither a cutout, nor a hole, nor even a pop-up camera for selfies. The only cameras are 16MP, f / 1.8 and 24MP, f / 1.7 sensors installed on the device’s rear panel. Since there is a display on the back, it works as a viewfinder if you want to take a selfie. A larger display acts as a viewfinder when taking regular photos or recording videos. Nubia X not only has two displays but also has two fingerprint scanners that are installed on each side of the device.
