The Chinese company intends to introduce a new series of smartphones whose details have emerged now. Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e will be two new models that are born after the acquisition of Meitu and that will focus in particular on young people and photography.

The launch is scheduled for 2 July 2019 but thanks to the TENAA certification body we have the first details on the technical characteristics of Xiaomi CC9 (code M1904F3BT) and CC9e (code M1906F9SC). Remember that the CC series will be positioned slightly below that of the Mi and close to the Redmi.

Xiaomi CC9 will be equipped with a 6.39-inches FHD+ AMOLED display (equal to 2340×1080 pixels) while the SoC will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730. It could come with three versions including one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, one of 6 GB and 128 GB and finally one of 8 GB and 256 GB. It will be priced at 2,499 Yuan (Rs 25,214)

In the rear, there is a triple camera with a 48-MP (main) sensor, while the front is a 32 MP sensor. The battery will have a capacity of 3940 mAh and there will be different colors like black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple and gray while the finger scanner will be integrated into the screen.

Xiaomi Mi CC9e version, on the other hand, will have a 6.09-inches display but there is still a lot of information about the complete technical specifications. What is known is the 3940mAh battery capacity while the dimensions will be 153.47 x 71.85 x 8, 48 mm Both models will use Android 9 Pie with an interface that should be slightly different from the one we are used to with Mi and Redmi.

Additionally, recently now, on Weibo, the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, reveals some key features of this device. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition will come on the market with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage space and an enhanced camera, capable of taking excellent quality photos even in low light conditions. All the smartphones of the Mi CC range will be characterized by an excellent quality of the photographic sector, especially as regards the selfie camera, particularly appreciated by young people. The Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, in addition, will be able to count on Meitu optimizations and is priced 2,999 Yuan (Rs 30,259).

Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e will come with the colors White Lovers and Dark Blue Planet, while the Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, will feature a special color: a completely different blue than the normal CC9 and CC9e phones. For now, the company has not revealed anything else about the rest of the specifications of this smartphone.
