Samsung at the InfoComm 2019 showcased their Samsung Flip which the Samsung Newsroom summarized in three keywords: pen, convenience, and design. The 2019 Samsung Flip is equipped with extraordinary writing recognition technology which helps to write on the display board with a passive pen without any electronic components inside. The recognition technology can recognize the thickness of writing objects and reflect the thickness on the display.
The speed of the 2019 Samsung Flip is an unprecedented one, and the wooden material flip pen provides the feel of using a real pencil. The pen’s recognition system to recognize the thickness of an object provides four options- thin pen, highlighter, finger eraser, and palm eraser. It helps the users have an analogue meeting environment.
In the Brush Mode, the screen recognizes the thickness of the brush and it comes in two types of paint textures- oil painting and water painting. In the oil painting mode, where the colours overlap, they will mix with each other, and if the drying paint option is selected, the previous lines dry up and prevent any new colours from mixing together.
The Note-Layer function will allow the user to take notes on documents or pictures shown on the display, and the Selection Tool and Merge to Roll functions make editing much easier. The upper portion of the display has intuitive function icons which can bring data from a mobile device, PC or USB to the Flip and vice versa. The ‘To-Mobile’ function allows the users to check the completed work from the Flip to the mobile device.
The Flip can be connected to a bigger screen using either a wireless connection or the screen share terminal of the Connected Tray in front of the 2019 Samsung Flip to connect the two displays using an HDMI cable. The Remote PC function helps the user to access their own desktop or laptops from the Flip.
Microsoft OneDrive, Office 365 and Web Browser are going to be incorporated in Flip which means that users can load documents from their personal cloud space.

The 2019 Samsung Flip’s design is remarkable. Its “no gap wall mount” design allows the device to be completely attached to the wall, and it’s grey color makes it the first choice for every office space. There are magnet brackets on all four corners of the Flip to provide stability.
