AMD Ryzen 3000 and Radeon RX 5700 Launched in India

AMD has been making announcements for the last month and a half in relation to its new processors and graphics cards. Today the company finally launched its Ryzen 3000 series processor: the Ryzen 7 3700X and the Ryzen 9 3900X, as well as the AMD Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT graphics cards.

The most anticipated hardware products of AMD are the AMD Ryzen 3000 processors, based on the Zen 2 7 nm architecture manufactured by TSMC. These processors were announced last May, and their price surprised to cost the same as they cost their versions of Ryzen 2000 in the launch, unlike now we find three models of higher performance above the 3700X: the Ryzen 7 3800X and Ryzen 9 3900X and 3950X, the latter arriving in September to the market.

The low prices of these chips have forced Intel to react, and the company will be lowering the prices of its processors in the coming weeks. The processors are also the first compatible with PCIe 4.0, with 24 lines (4 for storage, 4 for the chipset and 16 for the GPU).

The maximum frequency reaches 4.6 GHz in the 3900X, while the 3950X will be the one that reaches the highest frequency reaching 4.7 GHz. The performance of these chips is surprising since they equip 12 and 16 cores respectively; a figure that only 4 years ago we could only imagine in dreams and in processors for servers or workstations.

As we see in the performance tests, AMD not only has processors that have an amazing multithreading performance but now they are also competitive in games thanks to the improvement of the IPC and frequencies, besides that now the Ryzen chips perform better in Windows 10 thanks to the optimization of the CCX.

In addition, Intel’s vulnerabilities have left the company behind in performance, and AMD has been able to reach them. AMD eats not only Intel but also part of its own Threadripper.

In countries like Germany or Japan there are stores that have published sales data where AMD sells between 50 and 70% of the processors for consumers, while Intel has been lagging behind because, at the same price, its processors perform less in multicore. And you still have to see if they manage to launch their 10-nanometer processors to fight AMD.

The Ryzen 7 3800X is priced at Rs 28,490, and the Ryzen 7 3700X costs Rs 24,990 in India. As for the Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G APUs its prices are Rs 10,990 and Rs 7,190 in India respectively. The AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT is priced at Rs 30,990 and the Radeon RX 5700 will cost Rs 26,990.
