Asus launches gaming monitors, routers and similar products in India

Asus to expand its gaming and smart home markets launched products in India. The products launched by the Taiwanese company include Lyra Voice, a home network solution housing an 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), the ROG Rapture GT-AC2900, is an RGB Wi-Fi gaming router with two Full HD gaming monitors featuring 165Hz refresh rate, Triband Wi-Fi router alongside Amazon Alexa integration and Bluetooth stereo speakers; and 0.5ms response time – the VG258QR and the VG278QR.

The Lyra Voice is a three-in-one Triband router that boasts full Wi-Fi coverage with three kinds of Wi-Fi modes – an AiMesh router or node, a standalone router or a universal Wi-Fi repeater. The AiMesh Wi-Fi network enables users to place it in any place they need additional Wi-Fi coverage and a smart speaker.

Lyra Voice as the name goes has voice assistant integration with Amazon Alexa and can be utilized as a standalone router, especially as a hub of a smart home network. As for specification, it has a pair of microphones with 360-degree, far-field voice detection. It also comes with noise cancellation and background noise filtering so that you can distinctively hear it over music, loud sounds and more.

The second product is the ROG Rapture GT-AC2900, which is an 802.11ac RGB Wi-Fi gaming router that comes with multiple features. This is ideal for smartphone gamers as the router supports AiMesh technology for whole-home coverage to ensure smooth gameplay.

Lastly, the 27-inch VG278QR and 24.5-inch VG258QR gaming monitor that features FHD resolution, with a 0.5ms response time along with a 165Hz refresh rate. The monitor supports gaming features such as ASUS GamePlus and GameVisual for fast-paced, intense gaming.

Lyra Voice has been priced at Rs. 24,990, while the ROG Rapture GT-AC2900 will be sold at Rs. 23,900. The Asus VG258QR and VG278QR have been priced at Rs. 26,500, Rs. 31,500, respectively. All the products will be available via e-commerce platform Amazon India, Flipkart, and MD Computers.
