The ASUS ROG Phone 2 will be launching on 23rd July in China. Even though the launch is only a week away, ASUS has not released any definitive features of the smartphone yet. However, there has recently leaked a photo of a smartphone, and it just happens to be the leaked image of the upcoming ROG Phone 2. The leaked images show the front design of the upcoming ROG Phone 2. It is not clear yet as to why the company has taken this decision of not making public the specification of a smartphone scheduled to launch just a week later.
The ASUS ROG Phone 2, as it appears from the leaked images, has a no-notch design which is similar to the previous ROG Phone. The upper and lower bezels are reminiscent of the Black Shark 2, and the bezel makes the dual stereos visible. With this smartphone, the users would have the option to choose between three refresh rates- 60 HZ, 90 Hz, and 120 HZ. This addition seems to be a great move on ASUS’s part as the higher refresh rate drains the battery pretty fast. If the lower refresh rate is selected, then the battery life would increase. As expected, there is a selfie camera atop the upper bezel. However, the specification of the selfie camera has not yet been revealed. The ROG Phone 2 would run on the new Snapdragon 855 Plus.
