Xiaomi Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro have been launched in India. Both smartphones are somewhat similar to each other, but their prices vary. Consequently, there would be some difference in their specifications. Redmi wanted to break free of the tag of being the ‘budget phones,’ and so this range of smartphones are an attempt at that.

The Redmi K20 is powered by 730 SoC, has a 6.39 inch full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has the aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and has a 91.9 percent screen to body ratio. It features 8Gb of RAM with up to 256 GB storage. Xiaomi is following the current trend when it comes to the selfie camera, and as such, the K20 has a pop-up selfie camera. Instead of having the fingerprint sensor on the back, it has an in-built fingerprint sensor.

The K20 runs on a 4,000 mAh battery with an 18W charger in the box. The rear end of the camera houses a triple camera with a 49 MP primary camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The Redmi K20 would come in two variants; the 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage variant, and the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. The 64 GB and the 128 GB variants are priced at Rs. 21,999 and Rs. 23,999 respectively.

Coming to the Redmi K20 Pro: it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and has an Adreno 640 GPU. Like the Redmi K20, the k20 Pro too has triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom. The selfie camera is a pop-up one and is of 20 MP. It features the same battery as the K20 and has the same in-built fingerprint sensor.

It also has a screen of 6.39 inch. The smartphone runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie and supports a system-wide dark mode. The Redmi K20 Pro 6GB RAM, 128 GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 27,999 and the 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 30,999. Both the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro will be available on Flipkart from July 22 on Flipkart at 12 pm.
