Samsung Galaxy Fold ready for gala launch in September

Samsung Galaxy Fold Launch

Three months have passed since Samsung’s first announcement for the Galaxy Fold smartphone. The company could not make a perfect launch as several issues arose after reviewers got their hands on it. Now, the company suggests that a redesign is ready to make debut in September.

Earlier this year, we announced Galaxy Fold—Samsung’s first foldable device, and the beginning of an entirely new mobile category. Since then, we’ve made improvements to the Galaxy Fold to ensure consumers have the best possible experience – Samsung Newsroom

The company revealed to release the device in some certain markets which have many changes which are in line with the earlier rumors. The company has also released a few photos where the Fold looks quite impressive with much-improved design.

The glimpses showcase a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display that extends beyond the bezel with more improved hinges to protect against external particles finding their way in. The top and the bottom of the hinge has been strengthened while the space between the hinge and the body has also been reduced.

The company also claims to work on the Fold’s software experience, which includes optimizing more “apps and services” that will provide with much better experiences for the users. The company kept in mind to keep the phone handy, so it is comfortable to use and can open multiple apps at once.

However, the selected markets that are to get the new device have not yet been revealed but will get published as the launch date comes closer.
