Xiaomi’s 2019 edition of the Mi Gaming Laptop has finally been launched after it was shown off at the ChinaJoy. The Xiaomi Mi Gaming laptop would go on sale at the starting price of Rs.75,000.

From the outside, the laptop looks the same as the last year’s models. However, some internal specifications have obviously been changed. The laptop runs on the 9th-gen Intel Core i7-9750H processors, and the display comes with the refresh rate of 144 Hz.

The laptop sports a display screen of 15.6 inches and has a body ratio of 81%. It comes with an internal memory of 16GB of RAM, and the memory can be extended up to 512GB through the PCIe SSD. It also has a four-zone LED capable keyboard, glass touchpad, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, two 3W speakers with Dolby Audio support and a 1MP webcam at the front. As is the case with any standard premium gaming laptop, the keyboard supports four zones of backlighting.

Xiaomi also wanted to excel at its cooling system. The new design is aimed at improving the cooling efficiency up to 60 percent using the newer fan motors and larger diameter heat pipes.

The users would have a complete and wholesome gaming experience with the backlit keyboard. The laptop comes equipped with four USB 3.0 ports, one headphone jack, ethernet, HDMI and a 3 in 1 card reader.

The 55Whr battery would make sure that it delivers 4 hours of video streaming, 4.5 hours of video playback, and 4.5 hours of web browsing. The laptop is available in 3 variants with the entry-level 8GB RAM and GeForce GTX 1660Ti.

The price range starts at Rs 75,000 and goes up to Rs 90,000 in exchange for more RAM and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060. The laptop weighs around 2.6 kg. However, it is highly unlikely that this laptop would be launched in India anytime soon.
