Aug 7, 2019, 7:18 am

Apple Cards will be available to the iPhone users who install iOS 12.4 in the US. Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed that Apple and Goldman’s Apple Card were launched in the US in August.

The users with iOS 12.4 or later can bid for the Apple cards, both physical and virtual versions. Regarding testing out the beta version of the Apple Cards, several specific users have been invited to do the testing.

To apple for an Apple Card users with the iOS of 12.4 or later need to sign up for this credit card through the Wallet App. The entire process of signing up for the credit card takes less than a minute.

The opening process is very easy and simple. The system will automatically bring in basic data into the application form from the AppleID account which will reduce the number of manually entered items.

Hence, it will take the user less than a minute to complete the entire process and they can start to consume in no time. The consumption records will be shown in different heat maps with different colors.

For example, if a consumer often goes out to eat in a restaurant, an orange heat map will signify the consumption. If entertainment consumption increases, the heat map signifying this consumption will appear.

The Apple Card app would list all the expenditure statistics, transaction records, and account balance display data, all the current credit cards, such as the name of the store listed on most credit card bills. This way the consumer will always remember where they are spending their money.

However, the most impressive thing about Apple Card is the security of the Apple Card one-time dynamic security code and biometric authentication combined with iPhone Face ID or Touch ID. This mode of authentication is more secure than the CVV code.
