Samsung has recently launched it’s Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) in the Indian market with two different variants – only WiFi and LTE+ WiFi. These tablets are decent and easy to handle as they have all the basic features for the users.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 WiFi only Tablet at INR 9,999 and the LTE+ WiFi version comes at INR 11,999. The WiFi-only version will be available for pre-booking on Samsung online store and Flipkart starting tomorrow. The WiFi + LTE version will be available at the selected offline and online channels by the end of this month.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 measures 210X124.4×8 mm and the WiFi-only version weighs 345 grams while the LTE+ WiFi model weighs 347 grams. This tablet is a worthy option for its basic features and comes in two color options – black and white. It also includes a free two month trial of Youtube Premium.
Samsung A 8.0 (2019) has 8-inch WXGA (1200X800pixels) TFT display with 189 PPI density and comes with pretty decent cameras for a tab; it has an 8 MP main camera and 2 MP front camera that can capture photos of high resolutions and take videos 1920X1080 at 30 fps. This tab has 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded for up to 512 GB with a micro SD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A Tab 8.0 tablet has a 5100mAh battery with no fast charging support. The tablet adds up the dual speakers that can live up your stereo audio experience. It offers WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, USB 2.0, Bluetooth v4.2 and many more options for improving the device’s connectivity. This device also offers onboard sensors with an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor.
Samsung A 8.0 tab has Samsung’s Family Share feature that helps you to share schedules, notes, photos, reminders, etc. The Parental Control feature can be enabled to set a time limit. The device performs for the use of the children and monitors their screen time and what they can have access to. It also helps users to protect their children from accessing the harmful contents. The child-friendly mode can be activated through a quick panel of the device. It is also bundled with Lego game contents and native apps eg. My Art Studio, Crocro Adventure, etc.

Samsung also announced the Galaxy Tab A Plus 8.0 tablet earlier this year in Thailand. This version will offer certain features like the support for S Pen, has an octa-core chipset and an 8-inch display. This tablet will operate at WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution and will have a 4200mAh battery. It will contain 8 MP care at the back and 5MP front camera.
