However, at 2019 I/O conference, it was announced that the Beta version of Google Maps with AR has been provided to the Google Pixel owners. Now this Update is available for the Android and iOS users. You will have access to the alternative reality and can turn it to your local guide and walking companion at the same time. Huge arrows will pop up on your screen and show you the best way to explore your surroundings.
Timeline of your own:
Did you visit a nearby place and loved it? Well, why not update it in your Google maps timeline? Thus you can have a count on your activities e.g. the places you visited, the places you loved, you can also tick what you loved the most about it and share it with your family and friends. This timeline feature is divided into categories e.g. shops, restaurants, airports, hotels, etc. and it also make suggestions for you to narrow down your places of interest.
