Sony Malaysia has launched its wireless noise-canceling headphones, the WF-1000XM3.

At first glance, the WF-1000XM3 looks like the previous WF-SP900. But the new WF-100XM3 headphones look sleeker, and more rounded than the previous one. On the outside of the headphone beans, there is a circular grey panel that can control the music playback, along with answering calls and calling voice assistants.

The WF-1000XM3 earphones come with better earphone structures, and these two beans would be placed directly with the in-ear position. The earphones’ structure will ensure that they do not fall off the ears and stay there without causing any inconvenience to its user.

The WF-1000XM3 comes in an elliptical box which is very similar to that of Apple’s Air Pods. The front of the box has an indicator which will display the remaining battery capacity and connection status of the earphones.

Sony WF-1000XM3 comes with QN1e Noise reduction decoding chip. This nose canceling feature is stronger than any other previous Sony earphones. The built-in DAC will provide a 24 bit 192kHz HiRes lossless music playback. The QN1e chip also features the DSEE digital enhancement engine to enhance the hearing quality of the music played. The Sony WF-1000XM3 provides 6 hours of performance and supports charging technology. Only 10 minutes worth of charge can provide up to 90 minutes of battery life.

Bluetooth version 5.0 is used in the headphones and supports a wireless solution with the independent connection of the ears. Each of the earphones can be connected to the device separately. The delay is also said to be lessened in the new headphones.

The Sont WF-1000XM3 will be available at Sony Stores, and it is priced at RM 949. The worldwide release date is not available as of yet, and it is only available in Malaysia for now.
