Today Xiaomi announced the new Mi Charge Turbo, a wireless fast charger that promises up to 30W of fast charging. Mi Charge Turbo is faster than its predecessors, the 27W wired charging tech which comes with the Xiaomi smartphones.

The Mi Charge Turbo can charge a 4000mAh battery up to 100% in just 69 minutes. The wireless chargers have not been able to meet the users’ expectation as they take a lot of time to fully charge a smartphone.

This is not all, the Mi Charge Turbo tech supports fast reverse wireless charging too. What it means is that the Turbo tech can charge smartphones, headphones and other smartphones wirelessly.

Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo

Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 9 Pro 5G will be the first smartphone to get the Mi Charge Turbo 30W charger. If it happens, the Mi 9 Pro 5G will get three types of fast charging technology, fast wired charging, fast wireless charging, and the fast reverse wireless charging.

Xiaomi would not be the only company with a fast wireless charging solution. Huawei is not far behind, and the company is expected to launch a new 30W wireless charging technology in the upcoming month.

Apart from the fast wireless charger, Xiaomi also launched a pocket printer which can print 3-inch photos using ZINK ink-free printing technology. The small pocket printer is priced at 299 yuan and will be available from 11th September 2019. The printer also supports AR photos and audio photos.

The printer is really small in size, and it only takes up the space of one’s palm. The printer is made of ABS/PC fireproof material. The AR photo function needs to take a photo or upload a video when printing photos. The Mijia App can be used to scan the photo for the user to experience the AR photo effect.

Xiaomi has said that the 20 photo papers will be given at the price of 339 yuan, and the shipment will start on October 2.
