Apple’s biggest event of this year has been kicked off from the Steve Jobs Theater. The event is meant to announce a range of new Apple products along with some cool new subscriptions.

First off, Anne from the Apple company announced that Apple is launching the brand new Apple Arcade for the whole family from September 19th. With the Apple Arcade subscription, the users will have access to a plethora of new games made exclusively for the Apple Arcade users. Apple Arcade will be available for iPhones, iPads, and even Apple TVs.

Apple claims that no other game service has launched as many games as Apple Arcade will be launching this September. With this, users will be able to download and play the games of their choice. The developers at Apple will add a new Arcade tab in the Apple Store which will give the users access to the games as promised by Apple.

The Apple Arcade users will be privy to new games every month, personalized editorial content like game guides and sneak peek into new exciting games.

Anne brings to the stage Benjamin Kinney from the Konami group to talk about the new game developed by the said group. Kinney mentioned that Konami will release the new game Froggers which will be an instant hit with the entire family. He also demonstrated how the cute little frig with the adorable bathing suit outfit overcomes mini obstacles to reach its goal. The frog has to bypass a giant baby with sunglasses and collect as many jellybeans as possible. Collecting 100 jellybeans will upgrade the frog into a super Frogger.

Next, Peter Fabiano, the producer of the Capcom company introduced Underwater World, a rather grim and serious-looking game where the player assumes the role of humanity’s last hope. The player comes across terrifying underwater creatures and has to navigate his way through. The music and sound effect which mimics that of the underwater is breathtaking. With the launch of this game, the Capcom company is hoping to reach out to a global audience.

Lastly, Kelsey Hansen, the producer of Annapurna Interactive introduces fast-paced pop music inspired dreamscape where the heartbroken heroine is chasing after stereo hearts to ultimately mend her broken heart.

These are only three games among the many more which the Apple Arcade will bring forth. The subscription is priced at only $4.99 per month for the whole family and it comes with a one-month free trial. It will be released in over 150 countries worldwide and will add 100 games in a single week.
