According to reports; mysterious surveillance devices have been located near the White House to spy, and it is suspected that Israel was most likely behind the placement of cellphone surveillance devices. Reported by Politico on Thursday based on accounts provided by three former U.S. officials.

It is expected that the cellphone spy devices located near the White House were intended to spy on the United States, President Donald Trump.

It was pretty clear that the Israelis were responsible. – a former senior intelligence official remarked.

The reports published said, the mobile phone spy devices were likely intended to spy on President Donald Trump, though it was not clear whether the Israeli efforts were successful. Unlike other occasions, Trump administration did not rebuke the Israeli government, and there were no consequences for Israel’s actions.

According to forensic analysis, the FBI and other agencies working on the case felt confident that Israeli agents had placed the spy devices. The analysis is typically led by the FBI’s counter-intelligence division and involves examining the spy devices.

Commenting on the report, an Israeli Embassy spokesperson denied the allegation saying “These allegations are absolute nonsense. Israel doesn’t conduct espionage operations in the United States period.”

However, the FBI declined to comment, while DHS and the Secret Service didn’t respond to requests for comment. White House has also refused to comment on the allegations.
