Xiaomi is a popular name when it comes to smartphones, tablets, computers and other electrical accessories. The Chinese electronics company has slowly taken over the Asian as well as the world electronics market. Xiaomi’s MIUI ROM is one of the noteworthy firmware which is used by 300 million users worldwide. Other than offering Xiaomi’s in-house support, MIUI also comes with a bunch of exciting system apps for smartphones. After the launch of Android One series of smartphone, MIUI eventually started to release their MIUI based apps on Play store. To add up the list of MIUI apps, Xiaomi has released the Cleaner Lite storage cleaner app on the Play store.

Xiaomi has already listed it’s popular in-house apps like Share Me (Mi Drop), Mi File Manager, Mi Remote, App Vault, Mi Video, Mi Calculator, Mint Browser, Mint Launcher, etc. Recently, it came up with Mint Keyboard with support for 23 international languages, stickers, GIFs, fonts and themes.

The app is reportedly available for users under early access program. Like any other storage cleaning app, Xiaomi Cleaner Lite app also frees up space on the devices for use.

Xiaomi Cleaner Lite app does a bunch of cleaning jobs like any other cleaning apps; example, this app clears cache files, obsolete files, apk packages, and residuals. According to the sources, the in-app UI is very similar to the MIUI Security Cleaner app.

However, the users have to grant certain permissions for the app to work. It is to be noted that this particular permission criterion is also required for other Android and iOS apps.

Therefore, before using it, users must agree to the company’s privacy policy and allow the app to collect and process personal data. Users also have to agree to Clean Master privacy before using the app since the definitions used in the service are provided by Clean Master.

Xiaomi Cleaner Lite app is now available on Google Play Store for Android users.
