Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, released yet another phone, the Honor Play 3e smartphone, on September 17, 2019. It is an entry-level smartphone, and like any other entry-level smartphone, there is an immense opportunity for improvement left. However, we have to applaud this phone for passing the TUV Rheinland test, which decides which smartphones possess the eye protection certificate.
This phone has passed its test on its first attempt which is rare for an entry-level smartphone. Huawei’s Honor so far has not disappointed its customers and has made quite a name for itself for manufacturing pocket-friendly smartphones with good specifications. It also seems like a good option on the budget-friendly side.
It features a 5.71-inch pearl full screen and owing to its width which is only 70.78 mm it is easier to grip this smartphone in one hand. Honor Play 3e comes with a 64 GB of internal storage but the memory could be expanded up to 512GB. The Honor Play 3e smartphone has a three-card slot design to house two SIM cards and an external memory card storage. Both SIM cards can support 4G connectivity. In short, the smartphone has dual 4G connectivity and an expanded memory of 512 GB.
Honor Play 3e comes with a single camera on its backside. The rear camera is 12 MP, and the camera aperture reaches F1, which brings in more light through the lens for naturally brighter photos. The front-facing camera is of 5 MP and it comes with 10 beauty filters. In terms of appearance, this phone uses a very stylish two-color stitching design with a gradient color treatment.
