HMD Global has launched the Nokia 7.2 in India, and the smartphone will be available starting September 23, 2019, via Nokia.com/phones, Flipkart, and other retail shops.
Nokia 7.2 India features a 6.3-inch FHD+ PureDisplay with a swaterdrop notch and HDR support. The smartphone comes well protected on both ends with the 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 within an aluminum frame. It runs on the octa-core Snapdragon 660 and comes in two variants, the 4GB+ 64GB variant, and the 6GB+ 6GB variant. Also, in terms of storage, the 7.2 that is set to launch in India will have 64GB of internal storage. However, the internal storage can be extended up to 512 GB via microSD card. The backside of the smartphone also houses a fingerprint sensor.
The Nokia 7.2 sports a triple camera setup on its back. The setup consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5 MP depth sensor. It is equipped with a 20MP selfie camera. As is the case with most Nokia phones, the Nokia 7.2 has Zeiss Optics. The camera also offers three Zeiss bokeh modes, the Zeiss Modern, Zeiss Swirl and Zeiss Smooth. The camera AI will help capture stunning photos in night mode and in low light settings. The Nokia 7.2 features a 3,500mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.
The price for the Nokia 7.2 starts at Rs. 18,599 (for the 4GB+ 64GB model), and the other variant, the 6GB+ 64 GB model is priced at Rs. 19,599.
Customers can avail some offers for purchasing the smartphone both online and offline. If the purchase is made through the retail outlets, the consumer can avail 10% cashback using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards on EMI and regular transactions. The offer is valid until October 31, 2019. If the purchase is made through the official Nokia website, the customers will get an Rs. 2,000 gift card and the customers will receive an extra Rs. 2000 off on exchange if the purchase is done via Flipkart.
