OnePlus has finally released the Android 10 update for its OnePlus 7 series a few days after the smartphone manufacturer released the OxygenOS Open Beta build for the OnePlus 7 series. The new update will be rolled out to both the Oneplus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.

The software update will bring the OxygenOS version up to 10 with the Android 10 upgrade, and the users should expect some changes or added features with the new Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 update. OnePlus has planned a staged rollout for the new update. As the company itself is not rushing, the users have to wait patiently to finally get the new OxygenOS 10 update.

First, the users will get Android 10, a new UI design, customization settings, and location permissions. The new update will also get full-screen gestures such as inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen. A bottom navigation bar will help you navigate left or right to choose between an opened or recently opened app. A new Game Space feature will keep all of the games in a single place.

The “Smart Display” will show time, location, and event-specific information with Ambient Display. To activate the Smart Display features users need to go to the Ambient Display which comes under the Display settings. The new feature will also be able to filter out spam text messages. All the user needs to do is to go to Messages> Spam> Settings> Blocking settings section.

The OxygenOS 10 update will first be available only to a few users. OnePlus too is taking precaution in rolling out this feature to make sure that the new feature remains bug-free. The staged rollout is going to be a slow rollout. Those who cannot see the update option immediately after its release need to wait for some time for the roll-out to reach to their respective smartphones.
