Mi Fullscreen TV Pro with 4K Display Launched in China

During a launch event in China, Xiaomi has announced the launch of new Mi Full Screen TV Pro series – including 43 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches.

The latest Smart TVs from Xiaomi comes loaded with a full-screen design with up to 97 percent screen-to-body ratio. All three smart TVs under the Mi Fullscreen TV Pro series come with narrow bezels, and hence it is called fullscreen TV. The Mi Smart TVs feature an aluminum alloy middle frame and metal base.

The display on all three models has 4K resolution, backed by a 9th generation image processing engine. The Mi Full Screen TV Pro supports 8K video playback and is claimed to be the only product in its segment to do so. Talking about the 8K content support, the Xiaomi Mi Full Screen TV Pro supports 8K offline video playback with a USB device, while online 8K video playback will follow the 24fpsVP9 and H.265 standard.

The Mi 43-inch Fullscreen TV Pro comes with a price of 1499 yuan, the Mi 55-inch Fullscreen TV Pro comes with a price tag of 2399 yuan, and, the Mi Fullscreen TV Pro with 65-inch comes with a price tag of 3399 yuan. All three Mi Full Screen TV Pro models will go on pre-order today. There is no further information regarding the wider availability in other markets, including India.
