Just a day ago, the brand’s new high-end device has been introduced. One of the things that highlight this device, is that it is the first to be officially launched with the Android 10 operating system, plus it comes with some improved aspects of the OnePlus 7. Along with this device, OnePlus Pay has been introduced, the brand’s own payment service that will arrive shortly. Join us to know the details.

OnePlus Pay officially announced

Renowned manufacturers such as Apple (Apple Pay announced on September 9, 2014) and Samsung (Samsung Pay initially launched on August 20, 2015) had already launched this type of service, although apparently the Chinese brand does not want to be left behind and has Presented your own payment service.

Although the details are scarce, the brand has shared as much as possible. During the presentation, they revealed that this service has been running for some time, but will arrive officially next year. Taking Apple Pay and Google Pay as a reference, they have a large list of compatible banks, so for OnePlus Pay to live up to the competition you have to have an acceptable list of bank compatibility. Then we leave you with the words of Szymon Kopec, head of the division in product growth of the brand.

There is a very fantastic product that we have been working on for a little over a year. I could not be more excited to tell you that from next year, you will no longer need your physical wallet, since we are announcing OnePlus Pay. – Szymon Kopec

The exact date of arrival has not been revealed, nor the compatible devices, but most likely the mobile phones of the brand are NFC compatible.
