The new Google Pixelbook Go comes with an aesthetic appeal with its ribbed back and a matte finish top. What makes the Pixelbook Go stand out is its inclusion of a 3.5 mm headphone jack which is right next to a USB-C port.

However, there is also another USB-C port on the right side as well. Overall from the looks of it alone, the Pixelbook Go looks a lot like Apple’s flagship MacBook, especially in terms of its display and keyboard.

Unlike MacBooks, the Pixelbook Go is packed with a lot of specifications which makes the Pixelbook Go different from MacBook.

On top of the display, there is a 2MP camera, two far-field microphones that will serve as an input system for Google’s voice recognition command, “Hey Google”. The Pixelbook, like any other ultrabooks, has a small display screen, of 13.3-inch with Full HD display.

On both sides of the keyboard, the Google laptop hosts a pair of speakers and just below the keys is the trackpad. According to the people who got the opportunity to test the Pixelbook Go, the keyboard feels great to type on.

Pixelbook Go runs on Intel Core m3, i5, and i7 configurations and will come with either 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM. The price and availability will obviously vary and will depend on the kind of RAM or storage provided. It is not confirmed yet as to the storage capacity of the Pixelbook Go, but in general consensus, it may come with 64GB, 128GB or even in 256GB of storage space.

The model that is being tested out has a Full HD, Intel Core M3, 8GB of RAM, Core i7 with 16GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 4K “Molecular Display.” There are two things that are missing in the Pixelbook Go, the fingerprint sensor, and Pixelbook Pen support.

Google will announce the launch of the Pixebook Go at the 10/15 event in New York City which is supposed to take place in November.
