At the seventeenth annual convocation of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Dr. Narayanan, an authority on cryogenic propulsion proclaimed ISRO’s future plans. ISRO will be creating fifty spacecraft within the next two and a half years. At the 17th annual convocation, 1,203 students were conferred degrees by the senate within the presence of their parents.

Dr. V Narayanan is the Director of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre at ISRO.

ISRO has achieved several achievements since 1967. At the convocation, he went further to describe the first indigenous rocket in 1967 and “today we have developed a number of rockets and five generations of launch vehicles from SLV3 to GSLV MK-III. – Dr. V Narayanan

Indian Space Research Organization has come a long way since its formation on August 15, 1969. From launching small rockets of just 30-70 kg payloads to carrying 4,000 kg payloads to the outer space, ISRO has seen much and also has much to celebrate when it comes to space achievements. The journey of ISRO began after Dr. Vikram Sarabhai formed Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) in 1962.

This space program of India is now in its 50th year. This program never compromised with its principles and was constantly ready to serve mankind. It is the only organization in the world that has been providing strength to developing countries. Now even developed countries have started accepting the iron man of India.
