Vivo V17 smartphone to launch in India this month and V17 Pro on halt

Vivo is being very popular in the Indian smartphone market enjoying great success. Samsung is the second biggest player in the Indian smartphone market with a 20 percent market share. Vivo came within a striking feature with Samsung. As it jumped from 10 percent market share in Q2 2019 to 17 percent in Q3. According to a company executive, Vivo is planning to launch a V17 smartphone in India till the last week of November.

Moreover, the handset will be available in the market until the first week of December. There is no confirmation from the company about the specifications of the V17 smartphone yet, but a quad-camera setup on the back and dual selfie cameras can be expected. Vivo V17 price will be nearly Rs.25,000 INR. Vivo announced the launch of V17 and kept V17 Pro on halt, it may be a step that was taken for accelerating its sales.

Vivo V17 Pro, a mid-range smartphone with a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED screen, which the company described as Ultra-FullView display, with Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,400p) resolution. Its display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The company also took the security in concern and hence it has an in-display fingerprint scanner. It packs a Snapdragon 675 SoC, with 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage.

Furthermore, Vivo V17 Pro runs Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.1 out of the box and have a battery of 4,100mAh with 18W Dual-Engine fast charging support to keep the lights on for the handset. These are the specifications that the company disclosed on the V17 Pro launch.
