Before the launch of Disney+, the company announced that it will also be available on Fire TV streaming devices.

The confirmation is not minor since a previous report by The Wall Street Journal had indicated that Amazon did not agree with some aspects of advertising in Disney applications, which also include ABC, ESPN, and the Disney Channel.

Bob Iger, CEO of the Walt Disney Company, announced the agreement as part of a conference with investors, also revealing that the platform will reach LG and Samsung smart TVs.

Integration with Amazon devices will also be intertwined with its universal search feature, so it will accept voice commands when using Alexa. All this is ready for the launch set in the United States on November 12.

Previously, it had been reported that Disney Plus would be available, in addition to the web platform, on devices such as Apple TV, Android phones, Chromecast, iPads, iPhones, Rokus, Sony TV, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.

With this agreement, recently announced by Disney CEO Bob Iger at CNBC, it is clarified that the frictions that emerged in the past between the two companies have been smoothed out on this front and that therefore even Amazon Fire TV devices will welcome Disney+ together with Roku, and Apple TV.

This means that it will be possible to access Disney movies on Firestick and similar products, directly using these to see the contents. On the other hand, the service must necessarily rely on devices produced by third parties, considering the absence of a specific reader.

Recall that the Disney+ launch is set for November 12 and that among the contents provided there’s Avengers: Endgame, as well as many other productions, all at the price of $6.99 per month or $69.99 billed per year. Disney Plus will be available in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain (and more to be announced soon) starting on March 31. Please note: Titles may vary by territory.
