OnePlus closed its 2019 with the launch of 7T and 7T Pro smartphones. However, rumors are already circulating about the company’s next ambitious flagship smartphones which are expected to launch earlier next year. Given the OnePlus naming convention, We have many RTB that the company’s flagship will be called OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone. The name lends some to the normal space at OnePlus 8 since we’ve seen “Pro” versions of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T.

As for the release date, STI announces OnePlus normally non-T phones during spring. The most recent non-T variant, the OnePlus 7 Pro was launched in May 2019. As such, the OnePlus 8 Pro could be ready for a launch in spring 2020.

According to a leak from OnLeaks and 91 Mobile, OnePlus 8 Pro will not look very different from its predecessor. A major difference is perforated. With the screen, a deviation from the OnePlus 7 Pro and Pro 7T pop-up camera.

This smartphone will have a new sensor. We’ve seen the sensor on phones like the Huawei Mate 30 series, ThinQ G8 LG, Huawei P30 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and more. The sensor is used to calculate depth and distance, as well as to help with 3D and AR images.

The leak also showed a triple camera configuration, a speaker grill next to the USB-C port and an LED flash below the rear cameras.

According to a cryptic tweet from the tipster Max J., the OnePlus 8 Pro screen will have a refresh rate of 120Hz display. Until now, OnePlus smartphones from 7 Pro have frequencies of 90Hz ADH.

We have not heard much more to corroborate Max J.’s claims on OnePlus 8 Pro’s 120hz display for the successor. Although these panels are becoming increasingly common among smartphones. We could also see a battery boost to compensate for the viable screen on time for this feature, but we have not heard about the specifications much of this smartphone.
