HP’s November 19 product launch event was named ‘Lighten the Future’ and the company released a different version of its Spectre x360 13, Elite dragonfly notebook series along with ‘Hui Xiaowei’ voice assistant, light series A3 intelligent digital multi-function machine and the new O2O Enterprise Office Solutions.
Spectre x360 13 Elite dragonfly
HP’s lightest laptop Spectre x360 13 Elite dragonfly notebook series was announced in September and was made available in October this year. However, the tech giant reveals three new variants of the notebooks which will be smaller than its predecessors.
As per the reports, the device will be foldable and will come in the size of an A4 paper. A picture reveals its fuselage line transition, the tougher shape and the change of design on the corner of the slave.
It also has the ability to switch between notebooks, tablets, and tents just like before. The new HP Spectre x360 series comes with a 13.3-inch 4K AMOLED display with VESA True Black HDR 400 certification, up to 1000000:1 contrast ratio and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut. In addition to that, when the screen is shipped Anti-Reflection anti-glare technology has also been added to reduce the interference and effects of reflection. The device is also factory-calibrated with △E < 2 to improve the accuracy of screen color.
As for the connectivity, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and two USB-C ports on the left side of the device. It comes with a front-facing camera with a separate physical power-off switch to the camera. Users can power off it when not in use. Moreover, it supports Windows Hello, face recognition feature and more.
The new version of Spectre x360 13 comes under Intel’s ‘Athena Plan’ which means it includes Intel’s 10th generation quad-core processor and iris plus display giving twice performance rate than its predecessors. With a single charge, the device could work continuously for 22 hours.

Elite Dragonfly series notebook
Hp’s Elite Dragonfly series is the thinnest and the lightest laptop ever introduced by the company. According to the reports, it will weigh less than one kilogram. The body will be made of magnesium alloy which will improve the anti-fouling ability of the fuselage while ensuring the positive texture and look. As for the coating, HP Morandi blue oil-repellent will be used.
This notebook will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI port and USB-C interface along with the HP Sure View anti-spy screen which comes with 4K HDR-400 certification. The device will also be supported by Intel Athena program and will last up to 24.5 hours in a single charge. The official price of the Elite dragonfly series is $15870 and will be launched on December 4.
Limited-edition Envy Wood grain notebook
The most attractive thing about this laptop is that the piece of wood on the C side of the device giving it a rustic look. A walnut color keyboard holder and touchpad are visible upon the device. The company stated that the wood grain on each ENVY Wood notebook is different. The ENVY Wood part will also change with the use time, and the surface will be different than the grinding effect because of the use of the solid wood in the keyboard.
This limited edition laptop adds up the separate front camera physical switch for additional privacy. HP ENVY Wood has a 13-inch FHD IPS highlight screen, with brightness up to 400nits and also supports 100% SRGB color gamut display.
The laptop is powered by the Intel 10th generation Core processor and comes with B&O speakers, four speakers for surround sound playback, and HP audio enhancement technology.
As for the battery back up, HP ENVY Wood can last up to 20.1 hours and offers HP’s fast charging technology. The price of this device is yet to be disclosed.
The voice assistant – ‘Hui Xiaowei’
Along with the previously mentioned devices, HP also announced their new voice assistant – ‘Hui Xiaowei’ which allows users to control their computers with voice commands, including simple timekeeping, setup enhancements, music playback controls, and translations. We hope that we could see a lot more from the voice assistant in the future.
The light series A3 smart digital copier is a lightweight device that has 10 different models including M47n/dn/NDA and M42525n/dn. Using this series, users can now allow IT or device service providers to configure, monitor, and manage printing devices at any time, and can also troubleshoot through remote device management platforms for maintenance.
The enterprise users can easily perform device meter reading and job statistics in some simpler form with its inbuilt job accounting functions.
HP mainly builds its devices focusing on office life and convenience. This product launch event was also focused on the mobile office market.
