Honor MagicWatch 2 has been the hot topic since its launch date was confirmed. The watch is finally here as the company released it on November 26 at the Beijing press conference in China along with the Honor V30 series. Honor MagicWatch 2 is integrated with a self-developed Kirin AI chip which helps the smartwatch achieve a dual upgrade of battery life and performance simultaneously.

Honor MagicWatch 2 comes with a black, round dial and its straps have different color options. Two different versions of the watch are also available depending on their size. It has a thinner 2.5D glass surface design with 1.39-inch AMOLED high-definition precision touch color screen and a 454×454 resolution.

Kirin A1 for longer battery life
MagicWatch 2 by Honor is the first one to have the dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 standard wearable chip better known as the Kirin A1 chip. This chip is self-developed within the company to support Super Bluetooth. This gives an efficient, stable performance and excellent anti-interference ability.
As a result, Honor MagicWatch 2 has an improved connection transmission rate along with a broader Bluetooth connection distance range. The results show that the range could reach up to 150 meters in an open environment. Most importantly, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling and is waterproof up to 50 meters.
The Kirin AI chip makes it possible for the smartwatch to enable multiple sensors while reducing the power consumption and giving the battery a longer life for performance. The Honor MagicWatch 2 is a perfect watch for people who want to keep track of their health conditions 24×7. The watch offers various health monitoring features, including heart rate, sleep, stress, blood oxygen, and other indicators. It checks up the condition of your heart in a continuous manner. Its sleep monitoring technology can automatically identify testers when they fall asleep and can detect six typical sleep problems.
Furthermore, the watch can also screen sleep apnea risk based on the user’s continuous wrist heart rate and blood oxygen detection data throughout the night. It also includes features like pressure monitoring function and supports blood oxygen saturation detection.
