Oppo unveiled its pocket-friendly A-series smartphones on December 20, 2019, in China. The series includes two of Oppo’s newest models – A91 and A8. Oppo has delivered improved specifications to both of these models along with a budget-friendly price.
Oppo A91 seems to be a little bit expensive than the A8 model but it has fabulous specifications that you cannot ignore. This smartphone comes with 48 MP quad rear cameras, 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charging option along with MediaTek chipset and ColorOS 6.1.
Oppo A91 comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display and a 20:9 ratio. It sports a water-drop notch display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The AMOLED display enables Oppo A91 to have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The company claims that the sensor unlocks the phone in just 0.32 seconds.
As for the configuration, Oppo A91 is powered by the latest octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor and has Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 from Oppo. Besides these, the phone has an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot.
In terms of camera, Oppo A91 has a quad-camera option that includes a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 119-degree field of view, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Oppo A91 smartphone proudly sports a new hardware-level dimming feature and a nighttime low light feature without flash. In addition to that, it includes TÜV Rheinland’s eye protection certification, Game Boost 2.0 mode and K song back 2.0 mode to help you to listen to your favorite music.
The device has a 4,000 mAh battery backup and supports 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The fast charging option is claimed to be super effective as it can charge the Oppo A91 from 0 to 60 percent in just 30 minutes.
Oppo A91 is available in three color options – dark blue, red and white.
Price and availability
