YouTube Voice Search

Recently, YouTube announced quite a few new features to its mobile app. Together, these features aim to make YouTube’s app more comfortable to use as well as more accessible. YouTube app is now rolling out new features to make it easier to search content when casting to a TV, a “Who’s Watching feature” and much more. Youtube has also expanded the YouTube TV app support to more devices like the PS4 with features like HDR support, etc.

This update will bring a new feature which is known as “Who’s Watching feature” this can be used while casting YouTube on TV and other compatible devices. Moreover, the platform has also expanded the YouTube TV app support to PS4 lineup along with the HDR support.

The features allow users to run a voice search within the app while casting videos to the TV. You can select more videos on your Smart TV by using the voice search. This new feature is available on both iOS and Android platforms.

The “Who’s Watching” feature allows users to switch between different YouTube profiles linked to your device. You will be able to watch what other members of your family are watching. Moreover, if you’re casting or opening YouTube on TV app then you will be automatically signed into the last account which was cast on the TV. This will happen at least twice a day.

Available to both iOS and Android devices, users can now use “voice search” to find YouTube videos, even when they’re casting the app to their smart TVs. Users can also control the playback by saying commands like “play”, “pause”, and so on.
