Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro gets MIUI 11 global update on Android 9

Xiaomi has released MIUI 11 update to its Redmi Note 6. The newest MIUI update comes with an Android security patch and changelog. The Redmi Note 6 Pro received MIUI 11 update back in November. However, the update was pulled back following reports of several bugs.

Now the firm has rolled back the new version with MIUI Global Stable ROM based on Android 9.0 Pie. Here you can download MIUI Global Stable ROM update for Redmi Note 6 Pro with additional firmware changelog.

It comes with the software version of V11.0.2.0.PEKMIXM. The firmware update brings the new improved full-screen display, sounds of nature, documents preview, Mi Doc Viewer, tasks, quick reply, game turbo mode, and system optimization. For users who are running MIUI 10 on Redmi Note 6 Pro, the update weighs in around 669 MB in size.

Xiaomi always roll-out the software OTA updates via batches to the devices and it takes some time to arrive completely. However, if the update isn’t arriving on your device, you can manually install the firmware update.
