Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest lineup of MicroLED, QLED 8K, and Lifestyle TVs ahead of CES 2020.

The MicroLED comes in three variants – 75-inch, 88-inch, 93-inch, and 110-inch display screens. The 88-inch and 150-inch MicroLEDs come bezel-less with ultra-slim infinity designs. In terms of picture quality, the MicroLED is at the top of its line with a peak brightness of 5000 nits.

For the QLED 8K, Samsung introduced the Q950TS, the first 8K TV to introduce an Infinity Screen that offers a 99% of screen-to-body ratio making it, unlike any other TVs in terms of its picture quality. It comes with the AI Quantum Processor which has a built-in 8K AI upscaling and deep-learning capabilities that can take any non-8K content, upgrade it and turn it into 8K resolution.

In terms of sound quality, the QLED 8K features Q-Symphony, Object Tracking Sound+ (OTS+), and Active Voice Amplifier. These features will deliver the state-of-the-art sound necessary and suitable for such big screens.

For the Lifestyle TV series, Samsung is rolling out the Sero, the TV that has the ability to pivot between horizontal and vertical orientations. Samsung had initially rolled out this line up in Korea only but now in 2020, the company is looking to expand the market for Sero and thereby making it available worldwide. Sero can connect to users’ phone devices and stream the content of the smartphone on a bigger screen in horizontal as well as vertical formats.

The Sero was mainly designed keeping in mind the gradual increase with the mobile dependent consumers and its ability to stream the content of the smartphone onto the TV, on a larger screen, makes it ideal for the next generation buyers. Hence, it does not come as a shock that the Sero won the “Best of Innovation” at the CES 2020.
